If the shift requires the employee to work 8 hours and the Total hours of the day are 9 hours then in this case overtime is 1 hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Absolute Hours:<\/strong>\u00a0Overtime is calculated based on Absolute hours. method from which you want to pay overtime according to a\u00a0<strong>basic salary<\/strong>\u00a0or a\u00a0<strong>fixed amount.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>save<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u2018Overtime\u2019 if you prefer employees with additional pay for their extra hours worked, or choose \u2018Compensatory Leave\u2019 (CPL) if you wish to reward them with leave based on their overtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Overtime<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step#4:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ojoor<\/strong> also has an overtime module that helps approve or reject employee&nbsp;overtime of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can keep track of employees on a daily basis over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to<strong>\u00a0Time &gt; Employees Overtime.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can approve or reject an employee\u2019s overtime using the check box provided very next to the employee\u2019s name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure
